How to use the requisites tab

A requisite component is one that is required by the component which is being installed. It must be present on the target machine and its major and minor build numbers must be the same as, or greater than, those specified—otherwise installation will fail. Its name does not need to match the name specified, as it is identified by UID.

Specify requisites

Use this tab to specify the requisites':

Table entries can be added, deleted and moved using the Insert before, Insert after, Delete, Move up and Move down buttons.

A locale must be associated with a name—selecting the name column activates a name editor with locales. You can only alter the list of locales by switching back to the name pane.

If the component specified has not already been installed a warning message will be displayed during installation.

Note that any number of requisites may be specified; by default there are none.
