7-bit SMS. The bearers SMS and SMS7 are intended for non-WAP browser
applications. Commdb modem settings determine the validity period, service
centre address and whether delivery reports are requested.
7-bit SMS. The bearers WAPSMS and WAPSMS7 are intended for WAP browsing
where delivery reports are not required and the validity period is much shorter
(5 minutes).
